What Is the Passenger Endorsement?
The P endorsement allows you to operate vehicles designed to carry 16 or more passengers including the driver. This includes city buses, charter coaches, shuttle buses, and transit vehicles.
Requirements
- Hold a valid CDL (Class B minimum for most bus jobs)
- Pass the Passenger Vehicles knowledge test
- Pass an in-vehicle skills test in a bus

School Bus vs Passenger Endorsement
